The Odyssey Programme

For our regular weekly clients, we are introducing something new — The Odyssey Programme.

Odyssey is designed for riders who are committed to consistent, long-term progress with their horses. As we all know, meaningful improvement doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built through regular training, thoughtful and bespoke development planning, and supporting both horse and rider as athletes.

With a commitment to a minimum of four lessons per month (which can be across multiple horses) and a £35 monthly membership fee, Odyssey members receive protected private lesson rates:

• Private sessions (45 mins – 1 hour) — £40

• Private sessions (30 mins) — £20

• £5 discount on clinic entries

In addition to the reduced lesson rates, members also receive:

• One Water Treadmill session (value £35)

• One TheraPlate session (value £10)

That’s £45 of additional therapy value included every month, before factoring in lesson savings and clinic discounts. For a rider having four private lessons per month, the membership effectively returns its £35 fee in added services alone — with further savings gained through protected lesson rates and clinic discounts.

The inclusion of the treadmill and TheraPlate sessions isn’t simply about added value — it’s about supporting strength, recovery, and overall horse wellbeing alongside ridden training. The aim is to create a structured, consistent approach to development that supports progress both in and out of the saddle.

Odyssey is a commitment to steady progress, structured training, and investing in the journey — whilst also clearly rewarding the riders who are consistently committed to working with me, through the discounts.

If you would like to be part of The Odyssey Programme, please message Laura directly.

Clinics

Educational, fun and inclusive

Laura's coaching style is friendly, holistic, and educational, focusing on helping riders understand the “why” behind techniques and exercises. Laura’s goal is to equip riders with the tools and confidence they need to continue improving at home.

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Our clinics foster a supportive, inclusive and non-intimidating community where riders can develop their skills while enjoying time with their horse and friends.

Our Arena at Spear Hill Stud

Arena.jpg

60m x 30m sand and fibre mix arena with an underground irrigation system.

We specifically chose to not use a wax surface as this can limit the hoof's ability to slide when hitting the surface, which is a natural process that happens in the horses' gait and reduces the risk of concussion on the limbs.

To keep our sand and fibre surface consistent and level we have an underground irrigation system, Leaky Pipes. Pipes are laid under the surface and leak out water which is absorbed by the sand evenly throughout the arena.

We have a full set of show jumps and three Equestrian Reflections arena mirrors at one end of the school, which are an essential training aid. The clarity and precision of alignment are second to none.

Testimonials

"Laura is such an incredible teacher. Her wealth of knowledge and impeccable eye for correcting a horse and rider's way of going has transformed both me and my horses over the past 6 months. Most recently Laura has taken my young mare on schooling livery. I really feel so privileged to have such a professional, empathetic and talented rider helping me produce and develop her way of going. Laura puts the horse at the forefront of her work and during each session when I come to ride my horse I can feel her strengthening and developing as Laura progresses with her education. Laura’s motivation and passion for horses and eventing shines through at all levels of care she gives to both her horses and pupils. I can’t recommend Laura enough as both an impeccable teacher and exceptional rider, she is a real role model to any aspiring riders out there."
